WIth a B.A. in Primary School Education with a focus on special needs, and a MSc. in Social Research & Development and Socio-Educational Intervention from the University of Granada, Spain, Laura has worked in various educational projects in Spain, Bolivia and Norway

Mirka oversees the project-based learning pedagogy for the primary section. Originally from the Czech Republic, with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Education, she has also completed Outdoor Education Leadership Training.

With an MBA & an MEd (Harvard), Wendy is our teen educational program developer and beloved Math teacher. Her emphasis lies in encouraging students to explore their individual identities within the context of community.

Mike Aguiar
Portuguese, but raised in Montreal, Canada, Mike specialised in Systems Biology and has done biomedical research with a variety of companies and Harvard Medical School. He is thrilled to share his passion, knowledge and enthusiasm and hopes to spark curiosity for this fascinating subject.

After traversing the world on a bicycle, Cornwall native Holly settled in Portugal in 2016 together with husband Dave and their two daughters.
